San Lorenzo Creek Muted Tidal Restoration Project

NRM staff developed a conceptual restoration plan for a county-owned 8.5-acre site located adjacent to the bay shoreline. Conceptual design included creation of new habitats and enhancement of existing habitats. Design incorporated detailed hydrology information and bathymetry. Additional components included presentation of concepts for wildlife-protection fences and shoreline kiosks and ecological "story boards" that integrate with adjacent Hayward Shoreline trails and public access areas.
