NRM Environmental is certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) through the Caltrans DBE Certification Unit (#32793), and as a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). 

NRM Environmental provides on-call biological resources consulting services to California Department of Transportation District 4.  NRM staff conduct botanical surveys, wildlife surveys, and develop biological assessment documents and environmental permits.  NRM has provided on-site construction monitoring for California red-legged frog, conducted permit compliance reviews for BCDC permits, and has worked extensively with Caltrans staff and engineers to develop Biological Assessment documents that have been well-received by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
